FORD FINISHING RESULTS

6th JOEY LOGANO
9th TREVOR BAYNE
12th CHRIS BUESCHER
19th DAKODA ARMSTRONG
23rd DAVID RAGAN

RYAN REED, No. 16 ADA Drive to Stop Diabetes Ford Mustang – FINISHED 4th
“That was what we needed right there. You know, we were trying to conserve all night but man it felt good to get our first top-five. The guys told me that Ricky really turned his rookie season around a couple years ago at Daytona by coming away with a top-five so I am hoping to do the same thing. We had a bit of a rough start but the guys never gave up on me and I never gave up on them. I am really proud of everyone and thank you to Lily Diabetes and Ford and American Diabetes Association.”

HOW CRAZY WAS THAT FINISH FROM THE DRIVERS SEAT? “It was wild but man, I tell you what, that was fun. That was some fun racing. I had a great time. Kyle and everyone just raced so hard. I am so proud of us for putting ourselves in a good position to capitalize and that is what we have needed to do all season long and to finally do it, I am just so proud.”

TREVOR BAYNE, No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Mustang – FINISHED 9th
“That was a crazy finish. Man, it is a shame we didn’t get the result that our car had. We were a fast car all day. That 93, I don’t know what he was doing. He had to pit in two laps anyway and he came through there like a maniac just rooting everyone out of the way. If it is the end I understand but when you are going to pit in two laps that is uncalled for. The 54 and I and the 43 had a great run on the top. We were the only ones that could make the top work like that. I got to 255 or 260 and wanted to cool down to make another run on them. Next thing I know the 93 had me almost sideways through the tri-oval and rooted us out with 15 to go and we were out of it. That last restart, I don’t know what happened with timing and scoring but NASCAR kind of positioned us where we thought we should have been about four cars ahead of that. That hurt our result but we got through there pretty good to get a top-10.”
