Carlos Contreras is Back Behind the Wheel of the No. 44 38 Special/Ingersoll Rand/Voli Camry this weekend at Watkins Glen

Mooresville, NC (August 4, 2014) – Carlos Contreras will be back behind the wheel of the No. 44 38 Special/Ingersoll Rand/Voli Camry at Watkins Glen this weekend. Contreras raced with TriStar Motorsports at Road America earlier this season where he finished 15th.

Contreras will make his 96th career NASCAR start at Watkins Glen with TriStar Motorsports. He has two previous NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at the 3.4-mile, 11-turn road course. In these two starts, Contreras has an average starting position of 20.0 and an average finishing position of 32.0. In 2000, Contreras made his one, and only, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Watkins Glen where he started 6th and finished 8th.

“I am excited to be back in the Ingersoll Rand No. 44 Camry for these two, back to back, road course races,” said Contreras. “I feel we left a lot on the table at Road America due to contact on the final lap, so I am eager to get back at it with the crew and have a nice finish for them and our sponsors; 38 Special, Ingersoll Rand, Voli Vodka and Global Aircraft Solutions.”

Meet Carlos Contreras:

Contreras will attend the NASCAR Nationwide Series autograph session on Friday, August 8th from 4:30PM to 5:30PM. After the autograph session, Contreras will join a group of International Ingersoll Rand guests for a sponsor dinner in New York.
