NASCAR Weekend Schedule at Rockingham Speedway

The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and Craftsman Truck Series will compete this weekend at Rockingham Speedway. They will be joined by the ARCA Menards Series East on Saturday morning.

It will mark the second race of the 2026 Triple Truck Challenge. On April 10, Bristol Motor Speedway will host the final race of the competition.

Rockingham will serve as the qualifying race for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Dash 4 Cash program. The four best finishing eligible drivers at Rockingham will compete for the $100,000 bonus at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Garrett Mitchell will make his first start in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series at Rockingham, driving the Richard Childress Racing No. 33 Chevrolet. He will also compete in the ARCA Menards Series East 125.

Drivers to Watch:

O’Reilly Auto Parts Series: Justin Allgaier leads all O’Reilly Auto Parts Series drivers with three wins and five top-five finishes this season. He is the only driver who has earned stage points in every stage this year. His 31 career victories are tied with Jack Ingram for sixth on the all-time

Craftsman Truck Series Corey Day: In his first full season, Day has recorded six straight top-10 finishes, the longest active streak.

Pre-race activities:

Leading up to the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race, the track will showcase local talent, students, and dignitaries. Miss North Carolina, Sophia Kellstrom, will visit with fans. She will sign autographs from noon until 3 p.m. in the speedway’s Fan Zone.

The senior high school Marching Band will perform the school’s fight song on the front straightaway. It will feature over 50 of Richmond County’s most talented high school musicians. A medley of Richmond County elementary school students will be on hand to honor America by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance for both Friday’s and Saturday’s events.

The NASCAR Cup Series is off this weekend but returns to action on Sunday, April 12, at Bristol Motor Speedway.
