CASSILL ROLLS INTO KANSAS CITY
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Landon Cassill will look to add to his seasonal accomplishments this weekend at Kansas Speedway, a track where he has a wealth of experience.
Cassill will drive the AllDayParts.com Chevrolet in Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 at the track.
Cassill has raced eight times in Sprint Cup events at Kansas. He also has one Nationwide and one Camping World Truck Series race to his credit at the 1.5-mile track.
“Kansas is similar to the other 1.5-mile tracks, but it has its own unique qualities, too,” Cassill said. “It’s very fast for an intermediate track, and it’s had more than its share of wrecks lately, so you have to really be on your toes there.”
Practice for Saturday’s race is scheduled at noon and 4 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 12:15 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 3:30 p.m.
AllDayParts.com is sponsoring Cassill’s car for a second straight year at Kansas.
