o   Stenhouse has three Sprint Cup career starts with an average starting position of 19.0 and average finishing position of 27.3.

·        Last time at Texas

o   After rain postponed the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway until Monday, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. worked his way up inside the top-20 before his Ford Ecoboost machine tightened causing him to settle for a 26th-place finish.

·        Car

o   Chassis RK-929 is the same chassis that the No. 17 team raced at Chicago leading the Roush Fenway Racing efforts with his 17th-place finish after a competitor made contact with his Ford with ten laps remaining.

·        EcoPower Re-Refined Oil

o   EcoPower is a recently introduced brand of motor oil that is re-cycled and re-refined from used lubricating oils. It protects engines and protects the environment.

o   EcoPower is primarily sold to large corporate and government fleets, as well as consumers through do-it-for-me oil change outlets.

o   EcoPower is by far the largest seller of lubricants to the U.S. Military for all branches all over the World; Safety-Kleen has been the majority supplier for almost 20 years.  EcoPower protects some of the largest State and municipal fleets.

·        Texas Native

o   Underneath mechanic on the No. 17 team Kenny Deguisto is from Garland, TX which is about 50 miles from Fort Worth.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on Texas:

“Texas is one of my favorite tracks. We are bringing the same car that we raced in Chicago and felt we should have had a better finish than we got. We’re definitely making gains as an organization so I am looking forward to this weekend. Since this is EcoPower’s home track, it would be great to have a strong run for them.”

Mike Kelley on Texas:

“I’m looking forward to Texas this weekend. We’ve tested a lot lately and feel like we learned some things that should help us keep improving each week. Our mile-and-a-half program has been strong this year so hopefully we can have a solid finish in our EcoPower Re-Refined Oil Ford.”
