James and Krishtian Buescher Form The Buescher Foundation

The Buescher Foundation to support domestic adoption

FORT WORTH, Texas (November 1, 2014) – At a press conference today at the Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) for the start of National Adoption Month, it was announced that NASCAR Driver and Champion, James Buescher and his wife Krishtian Buescher have launched the Buescher Foundation. The Buescher Foundation is committed to providing financial support to families who have been called to adopt. Their personal experience has taught them that all children deserve a family who can help them grow into loving and caring individuals. The Buescher Foundation’s mission is to provide support and resources to families going through the adoption process domestically.

The Buescher Foundation was established in 2014 by James and Krishtian Buescher who have experienced adoption first hand. Stetson Buescher, now 15 months old, was adopted as an infant by James and Krishtian Buescher in the summer of 2013. Adoption for the Bueschers was always the goal and Stetson was the next piece to the puzzle of family life for the Bueschers. All children need a supportive family who can help them develop into successful and thriving individuals and the Buescher Foundation’s goal is to give families the opportunity.

Families that are adopting domestically and have been approved by an agency or facilitator may apply for a grant through The Buescher Foundation. There is no income requirement. The process begins with an application and a home study.  Also required is a “look book” that tells the story of your family and proof that you are working with an agency or facilitator. Awards will be granted at the end of each quarter.

“Having gone through the adoption process ourselves, we know what it takes to be able to adopt. Our goal is to take some of that stress off the families that want to adopt and give a child a loving forever home,” said James and Krishtian Buescher collectively.

Also announced today at the press conference at TMS, The Fraternal Order of Eagles, who is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope have vowed to donate $50,000.00 towards the Buescher Foundation.  In addition, Great Clips, Inc. has pledged to donate $10,000.00.

The Buescher Foundation will hold and support multiple family friendly fundraising events around the United States of America. One of the tentative events will be a fun for all ages carnival. On Friday, January 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Charlotte Checkers, the AHL affiliate for the Carolina Hurricanes, the Charlotte Checkers will host Buescher Foundation Adoption Night. To create awareness about National Adoption Month, The Wells Fargo / Duke Energy Tower in Charlotte, N.C. will be lit up in the colors of yellow and red on Saturday, November 22.

The Buescher Foundation Board of Directors will be made up of: James and Krishtian Buescher, Johanthon Bobbitt-Miller, Todd Bodine, Susan Karli and Steve Overholser.
