·        Last Time at Phoenix

o   The new qualifying format was a success, as Biffle made it to the final round and earned the sixth starting position.  During the race the 3M Ford lacked grip on the track and Biffle ultimately crossed the finish line in the 17th – position.

Biffle on Phoenix:

“I love being out West, that’s where I grew up and I love Phoenix and the race track.  I got to spend a little time at the sand dunes before heading into this weekend and that’s one of my favorite things to do.  We’ve had some good runs at Phoenix in the past and I think we can get another good finish this weekend.”

Puccia on Phoenix:

“I’ve always enjoyed going to Phoenix.  One of the first wins of my career came at Phoenix.  Phoenix is also one of the fastest one mile tracks on the circuit.  Goodyear brings a good tire that offers up different pit strategies throughout the race, but it’s always a challenge there keeping up with the track and the balance of the car.”
