Armstrong and Team Going for Second Consecutive Top-10 Finish, Fourth of Season
Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField Ford team have a lot to be excited about going into this weekend’s race at Phoenix International Raceway. The team is coming off of their third Top-10 of the season and will go for their second consecutive Top-10 this weekend.
Not only does the WinField team have momentum going into this weekend, but the team has prepared their favorite chassis. Chassis No. 743 is the same chassis that led Armstrong to his Nationwide Series career-best finish of seventh at Richmond two months ago.
.In his first Nationwide start at Phoenix this spring, Armstrong earned an 18th-palce finish. In addition, Armstrong finished 19th in his only Truck Series start at the track last year.
“I’m really looking forward to Phoenix. We’re bringing our favorite chassis. It’s the same one that we earned our seventh-place finish with in at Richmond, and it’s a great chassis for the short tracks. I expect us to go back to Phoenix and be a lot better than in the spring. It was our second race of the year, and it was obviously a new team, so there are a lot of things that we’ve improved on since then.
“We had a really good run to earn our third Top-10 of the season last week, and we’re expecting the same this week. We have momentum going into these last two races, and I’m really looking forward to all of our hard work and struggles over the season to pay off to end the year.”
