BASF Paint Brand to Continue 25 Year Partnership with Petty Brand
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (January 28, 2015) – There is only one color that has defined the Petty brand over the past 65 years, Petty Blue, And, for the last 25 years the Petty family has relied on R-M Automotive Finishes, a brand of BASF to bring that color to life. In 2015, R-M will continue that tradition on the No. 43 and also provide the colorful finishes to the No. 9 Ford and the No. 43 XFINITY team for Richard Petty Motorsports.
R-M Onyx HD will also be the automotive finish for all custom cars prepared at Petty’s Garage. R-M is known as the paint brand in the automotive finish industry that is customer driven and committed to providing excellent results that promote high productivity and enhanced environmental awareness.
