HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi Announces Additional Races For Brennan Poole and DC Solar

Texas Native Will Be Behind the Wheel of the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro for Both Iowa Speedway Races in 2015

Concord, N.C. (Apr. 6, 2015) – HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi announced today that Brennan Poole will compete in two additional NASCAR XFINITY races this season, both at Iowa Speedway. He will take to the track in the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro on May 17 and August 1 at the 0.875-mile track. The Texas native will now compete in 17 XFINITY Series races for HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi in 2015.

Poole has made two starts so far this season, racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) and Phoenix International Raceway (PIR). His season has been off to a successful start, with Poole scoring a top-10 finish in his debut at LVMS and leading his first NASCAR XFINITY Series laps at PIR.

“I am pleased that Brennan will be running the No. 42 DC Solar Camaro in the XFINITY Series at both Iowa events this year,” said team owner Harry Scott Jr. “He has really impressed me so far this year with his performances in Las Vegas and Phoenix. The Iowa Speedway configuration should play right into Brennan’s skill set, and I’m looking forward to seeing him have successful runs at each event. We’re excited to have DC Solar on board for those two additional races and appreciate them supporting Brennan and our program.”

In addition to being Poole’s first season in the XFINITY Series, 2015 also marks the first season for DC Solar as a sponsor in NASCAR. As the premiere manufacturer and distributor of mobile solar solutions, DC Solar serves a wide range of industries, including sports, entertainment, emergency preparedness/response, special events, parking, construction and agriculture.

“As exciting as it was to watch Brennan leave an indelible mark on the first two NASCAR races of his career, the real excitement is yet to come,” added Jeff Carpoff, President and CEO of DC Solar. “DC Solar is going to be right there with him.”

Poole will next be behind the wheel of the No. 42 DC Solar Chevy when the XFINITY Series returns to action at Texas Motor Speedway on April 10. The O’ Reilly Auto Parts 300 will air on FOX Sports 1 at 8:30 p.m. EDT.

Poole will drive the DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro 15 more times in the 2015 XFINITY Series season (Texas 4/10, Bristol 4/18, Richmond 4/24, Talladega 5/2, Iowa 5/17, Dover 5/30, Chicagoland 6/20, Daytona 7/4, Kentucky 7/10, Loudon 7/18, Iowa 8/1, Richmond, 9/11, Kentucky 9/26, Charlotte 10/9, Kansas 10/17). DC Solar will also serve as an associate partner on the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro throughout the remaining schedule.
