Ford Qualifying Results:
3rd – Brad Keselowski
6th – Joey Logano
13th – Ryan Blaney
19th – Greg Biffle
22nd – Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
23rd – Trevor Bayne
29th – Sam Hornish Jr.
31st – Cole Whitt
32nd – Aric Almirola
38th – David Gilliland
39th – Michael McDowell
40th – Chris Buescher

RICKY STENHOUSE JR. – No. 17 Zest Ford Fusion – “It’s not bad.  It’s definitely got more speed in them, which is really good.  There are still a lot of things we need to learn to do to get better.  We’ve got to learn what adjustments to make and how to get it faster on older tires.  That’s what kills us in qualifying is not being able to make the right adjustments and get more speed out of the race car.  All in all, I think it’s definitely a positive day.  We’ve got a little bit more speed in it and we’ll just keep working on it.”

RYAN BLANEY – No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion – “We’re gonna be a lot different for the race, but this Motorcraft/Quick Lane team did a great job of getting our Ford tuned up from where we started qualifying to where we actually were in qualifying there.  I really wanted to be in the last round.  I lost a big chunk of time the first run in that second round off of two and that kind of solidified our fate.  It was so hard to go back out for a second time in the same session and run faster because you don’t have enough time for the tires to cool off like you need.  We almost still did it, but that just proves the great work these guys did to it and just fortunate to be with such a great team.  We’re starting a lot better than what we did at Vegas, so I’m a lot happier about that.  We don’t have as many cars in front of us, so I think we’re about 50 percent better than where we were in Vegas.  We’re looking forward to the race tomorrow.  It’s gonna be a lot of fun.  I love Texas Motor Speedway and I think we have a good race car also.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI – No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion – “You can always be a little bit better, but the 4 and the 41 have been fast week in and week out and they’re fast here again.  The guys did a great job getting us to where we’re at here and being first in class.  It never helps to have extra runs on the tires, but we made the most of it.”

JOEY LOGANO – No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion – “I felt like we were better in race trim than we were in qualifying trim the whole time, so we kind of finished as expected for qualifying.  It feels really close, but I think we’re alright and we have a decent starting spot.  Todd told me we won from 10th last year, and we’ve qualified 10th the last few times we’ve been here, so we’re improving.”
