SETTING THE SOCIAL SCENE

@BrennanPoole on racing in Bristol – Super pumped to be going to @BMSupdates this weekend! I’m looking forward to my first @NASCAR_XFINITY race there!

POOLE THUNDERS INTO THE LAST GREAT COLISEUM

Brennan Poole returns for the second of five consecutive weeks in the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS). Although this will be Poole’s first career XFINITY Series start at “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile,” he has competed at BMS once in late model competition. Poole scored a victory in his first career ARCA Racing Series start at a track similar to BMS, Salem Speedway in Indiana. Through three XFINITY Series races this season, Poole has an average starting position of 19.7 and average finishing position of 16.0.
RIDE WITH BRENNAN

Poole will once again carry the DC Solar on-board camera for Saturday’s 300-lap race at BMS. Tune into FOX Sports 1 on Saturday for all the action from the Drive to Stop Diabetes 300.
A LOOK BACK AT TEXAS

Poole started his third XFINITY Series race of 2015 in the 22nd position. Shortly after the start of the race, Poole made his way in to the top 20. During the race’s first caution, Poole was forced to start at the rear of the field following a pit road violation. After the restart, Poole began to work his way forward again. He was the beneficiary of a free-pass back to the lead lap during a late-race caution. Poole fought to a race-high 13th with less than 20 laps to go and maintained it to the race’s conclusion.

BRENNAN POOLE ON BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY

“I am really looking forward to getting on the track this weekend in Bristol. It’s a place unlike any other on the planet; it’s such a great atmosphere. I was able to win my first ARCA race at a very similar race track to Bristol, Salem Speedway in Indiana. I know the XFINITY Series race will be quite a bit different, but I am really looking forward to it. (Crew chief) Mike (Shiplett) and the guys have once again built another great race car.”

CREW CHIEF MIKE SHIPLETT ON BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY

“Bristol is a very demanding track for both team and driver. A good qualifying spot and track position are crucial to having a good day. Brennan has done a fabulous job of coming off the truck and getting comfortable with the track and his car. His ARCA experience at tracks like Salem Speedway and Winchester Speedway will also help in his transition as you run a similar line to Bristol. I am confident that Brennan and our team can come away with a strong finish this weekend.”
