CHEVY NSCS AT RICHMOND ONE: Persistent Rain Postpones Toyota Owners 400

PERSISTENT SHOWERS FORCE NASCAR TO POSTPONE TOYOTA OWNERS 400

RICHMOND, Va. – April 25, 2015 – The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway has been postponed due to inclement weather, and rescheduled for tomorrow (Sunday, April 26, 2015) at 1 p.m. Eastern.

Kurt Busch will lead Team Chevy to the green from the third starting position.  Additional Team Chevy driver’s starting in the top-10 will be AJ Allmendiger – 4th, Kevin Harvick, No. 4 Jimmy John’s/Budweiser Chevrolet SS – 5th, Martin Truex, Jr., No. 78 Furniture Row/Visser Precision Chevrolet SS – 6th and Jamie McMurray, No. 1 Energizer Chevrolet SS – 9th. A total of 23 Chevrolet SS drivers qualified for the ninth race of the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

The 400-lap/300-mile race will be broadcast live in its entirety on FOX, MRN Radio and Sirius NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
