ADVANCE NOTES

Buescher at Dover International Speedway

Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher will make his third NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Dover International Speedway on Saturday.  In his previous two starts, both coming last season, Buescher started inside the top-10, and earned finishes of 11th and fourth, respectively.

In his two starts at Dover International Speedway, Buescher has completed 100 percent of the laps inside the top-15.

So far this season in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Buescher maintains an average running position inside the top-10, and is tied with Ty Dillon for the best average finishing position (8.1).  Buescher ranks second to Roush Fenway teammate Bubba Wallace in the number of quality passes with 561.

On the Car

The No. 60 Ford Mustang carries the Roush Performance colors this weekend at Dover International Speedway.

Roush Performance Parts is a premier supplier and engineering services provider, most known for its line of high performance Mustang powertrain parts, including superchargers, cold air intakes and exhaust kits.  The list goes on to include a full line of wheels, tires, interior, grilles, graphics, service parts, accessories, drivetrain, cooling upgrades and more.  In addition to Mustang, Roush Performance Parts also offers performance upgrade packages for Ford F-150, Superduty and Focus.

Recapping Charlotte Motor Speedway

Coming on the heels of a victory at Iowa Speedway, Buescher entered the weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway looking for the same result.  He qualified his No. 60 Roush Performance Ford Mustang in 14th for the 200-Lap race.  Crew chief Scott Graves and Buescher worked together for the duration of the race to improve the handling of the car, ultimately crossing the finish line in 11th.

QUOTE WORTHY

Chris Buescher on racing at Dover International Speedway

“Dover is one of my favorite race tracks to go to.  We are in a great spot with our Roush Performance Ford Mustang and have been running very well this year.  Our team had a great run at the last Dover race and we look forward to improving a few spots this time around.”
