Last time at Dover

After the No. 47 machine slid in front of the No. 17 Ford and made contact with teammate Greg Biffle, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. collided with the No. 16 Ford sending both to the garage. The No. 17 team was unable to repair the car forcing Stenhouse to settle for a 41st-place finish.

Autism Speaks

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and the No. 17 Ford Ecoboost Ford will participate in the Autism Speaks decal program this weekend. Stenhouse Jr. will also participate in the Artie Kempner Drive for Autism golf tournament on Thursday in Wilmington, Delaware.

On the Car

The No. 17 Fusion carries the Ford EcoBoost colors this weekend in Dover. Ford EcoBoost technology combines smaller overall size with turbocharging, direct injection and variable valve timing to bring customers outstanding performance and fuel economy.

Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Dover:

“Dover is a tough track hence the nickname ‘Monster Mile’. The turns are unique because of the way you drive up out of them.  It is important to qualify well and stay up front because track position is so important. We’ve had some solid runs at Dover in the past so hopefully we can build on that this weekend and leave Dover with a strong run.”

Nick Sandler on racing at Dover:

“Dover is a tough one-mile track. The rough concrete surface is really tough on your car. We will focus on qualifying trim on Friday because track position is crucial at Dover. Roush Fenway as an organization has been a strong competitor in the past at Dover so hopefully we can continue that success this weekend.”
