CASSILL 22nd AT DOVER

DOVER, Del. – Landon Cassill picked up six positions on a tough day at Dover International Speedway and finished 22nd in Saturday’s Buckle Up 200 Xfinity Series race.

Cassill qualified 28th and raced as high as 18th in the series’ 12th race of the season.

“We had a pretty good car but couldn’t move up like we wanted,” Cassill said. “Everybody’s fast here. We hung in there the best that we could and got a bunch of laps in.”

Cassill, driving the Meding’s Seafood/Iron Source Chevrolet, is 15th in Xfinity Series points.

Chris Buescher won Saturday’s race and stayed in the series point lead.

After a week off, the series races at Michigan International Speedway June 13.
