Pocono Raceway Extends Official Partnership with Lehigh Valley Health Network

Raceway’s 50/50 Raffle to benefit the Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital

LONG POND, PA (June 3, 2015) – Pocono Raceway announced today a multi-year extension of their partnership with Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) as the ‘Official Health Care Provider of Pocono Raceway.’ Additionally, as previously announced last week, the 50/50 raffle being hosted at the Raceway during the upcoming Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 race weekend will benefit the Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Pocono Raceway will continue to utilize LVHN’s medical staff and resources during their annual NASCAR and INDYCAR Series race weekends. LVHN will continue to provide support with a medical location behind the Grandstand and inside the track at the LVHN Infield Care Center.

The 50/50 raffle being held at Pocono Raceway, in conjunction with the Mattioli Foundation, will benefit the Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Individuals, over the age of 21, can participate by purchasing a 50/50 ticket from one of the roaming volunteers dressed in bright yellow shirts. A random winner will be announced prior to the end of the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400, but tickets may be purchased anytime during the race weekend.

The Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400” race weekend, taking place June 5-7, will include the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards. Friday tickets start at $10 and Saturday tickets are available for $20 for adults. Kids, ages 12 and under, are admitted free to all events on Friday and Saturday, with accompaniment of an adult ticket holder. Tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday start at $45 for adults and $22.50 for children, ages 12 and under.
