Bayne at Michigan
Bayne will make his ninth career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at Michigan International Speedway this weekend.
His best finish of 15th in NSCS at the Irish Hills came in June 2013 after starting from the 25th position.
In five career starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Michigan, Bayne recorded two top-five finishes and two top-10 finishes with a best finish of fifth in 2011 and 2013.
Bob Osborne at Michigan
Osborne will be atop the box for his 18th NSCS race at Michigan on Sunday. In 17 previous starts, Osborne has earned two wins, eight top-fives, 11 top-10s and has an average finish of 9.6. Osborne’s victories came with former Roush Fenway driver Carl Edwards in June 2007 and Aug. 2008.
Recapping Pocono
Bayne earned a 24th-place finish on Sunday afternoon at Pocono Raceway after taking the green flag from the 33rd position. Bayne also recorded his first career ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards victory on Saturday at Pocono after starting from the pole and leading 42 laps.
