RHODES RETURNS TO MIS

BROOKLYN, Mich. – Harrison Rhodes will be eyeing a strong finish in the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 0 Chevrolet in Saturday’s Great Clips 250 Xfinity Series race at Michigan International Speedway.

Rhodes has raced in an Xfinity event at MIS, so the fast two-mile track won’t be new territory for him.“A fun track and a fast track,” Rhodes said. “Once you get your car dialed in there, you can really fly. I’m looking forward to going back and doing well.”
Rhodes, a rookie, is 23rd in Xfinity driver points entering the race.Xfinity teams are scheduled to practice at 1 and 2:30 p.m. Friday. Qualifying is set for 10:15 a.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 1:30 p.m.
