ADVANCE NOTES

Wallace at Chicagoland Speedway

This Saturday, Bubba Wallace will make his first NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Chicagoland Speedway.

In two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Chicagoland Speedway in 2013 and 2014, Wallace earned finishes of 11th and sixth, respectively.  In 2014, Wallace started and finished sixth, leading 10 laps.

So far in the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series season, Wallace ranks second in the number of quality passes, with 633.  He has completed the second-most laps inside the top-15 (2,267 of 2,480 or 91.4 percent), and holds the third-best average running position (8.7).

On the Car

The No. 6 Ford Mustang carries the Roush Performance colors this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway.

Roush Performance Parts is a premier supplier and engineering services provider, most known for its line of high performance Mustang powertrain parts, including superchargers, cold air intakes and exhaust kits.  The list goes on to include a full line of wheels, tires, interior, grilles, graphics, service parts, accessories, drivetrain, cooling upgrades and more.  In addition to Mustang, Roush Performance Parts also offers performance upgrade packages for Ford F-150, Superduty and Focus.

Distractor Face

The Roush Performance Distractor Face contest allows NASCAR fans to decide on a unique design for Wallace’s No. 6 Ford Mustang at Chicagoland Speedway on June 20.  Fans will vote through social media hashtags to determine which of the FOX broadcast team will appear on Wallace’s hood.  Voters can choose between Danielle Trotta, Larry McReynolds and Jeff Hammond to adorn the hood of Wallace’s Roush Performance car.  Voting concludes June 17.

Recapping Michigan International Speedway

Wallace started third with a strong No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Mustang for last Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Michigan International Speedway.  After losing track position midway through the 125-Lap race and sustaining damage after a late race accident, Wallace ultimately finished 15th.
