BRAD KESELOWSKI – No. 2 Alliance Truck Parts Ford Fusion – “It was great teamwork and great strategy for the team today to really make the most of our day. We didn’t have the speed we wanted, but we overcame that with just great execution by the team. I’m very proud of that. We’ve got to find some speed for tomorrow to have a shot at winning and we know that, so we’ll keep working on it.”

SAM HORNISH JR. – No. 9 Jacob Ford Fusion – “I was pretty happy with it yesterday, being top 10 in both sessions, and felt pretty confident coming into today. We probably went a little bit too early in the first round trying to get out there. The track was slick and that put us behind, but, all in all, I’m happy with the effort everybody has put forth, but if felt like we had more than we were able to get out of it today. We’ll have to be smart as far as tomorrow goes and making decisions on how to get some track position. I feel like we’ve got a good Ford Fusion, but just didn’t quite get everything we needed to out of it today.”

MICHAEL MCDOWELL – No. 95 K-LOVE Ford Fusion – “We have a good car. Unfortunately, the caution came out on our flyer, so the tires were hot and didn’t have enough time to cool it off before we made our second run. It was kind of the perfect storm and worst-case scenario, but it’s OK because we have a really fast Ford. It was good in long runs yesterday, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. You can’t predict that, so it’s OK.”

GREG BIFFLE – No. 16 Ortho Ford Fusion – “I feel pretty decent about the car. I just wish that we would have gotten a better lap there. I made a few mistakes. I could have been a little faster the first time out. The second time out I got about all I could out of the tires. Rarely have we seen qualifying that tight on a road course, but it’s like everywhere we go now is really tight. One tenth would have put me right where I needed to be and you could count about eight or nine corners where you could have picked up a tenth. I think my car is decent for tomorrow. We start right in the middle of a bees nest, right around a bunch of good cars, so we’ll see.”

TREVOR BAYNE – No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion – “I feel like my Cup car is better than I am. It’s pretty good. I feel really good about this place and think this is gonna be a track I’ll really like once I get it figured out. It’s a fun place. I’ve always enjoyed road racing. I’ve never been great at it because I haven’t spent a lot of time doing it, but I’ve put a lot of work into this weekend and I’m hoping for a good result. We picked up a lot from yesterday in the qualifying run, so to be 30th in our first time out isn’t ideal but we’re making progress and we’re within striking distance of being fast.”
