This Week’s Texas 28 Spirits Stage Toyota at Daytona International Speedway:  J.J. Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 292 in the Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway. Yeley last raced this chassis at Talladega Superspeedway where he brought it home with a season best fourth-place finish.  The chassis was also run in the season opening event at Daytona where Yeley was racing inside the top-10 late in the race before getting caught up in a wreck.

Yeley at Daytona International Speedway:

J.J. will be making his ninth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Daytona International Speedway to go along with 11 previous starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series  Yeley has two XFINITY Series top-10 finishes at the 2.5-mile track along with two previous pole awards.

Earlier this season, Yeley and his No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota finished 27th in the season opening race at Daytona after getting caught in a late race accident while racing inside the top-10.

J.J.’s Thoughts on Daytona:

“Everyone at this JGL Racing team is excited and has high hopes heading back down to Daytona this week.  We really had a strong run in the season opener at Daytona but just got caught up in that Kyle Busch late race accident.  We ran inside the top-10 most of the day and were in a great position there in the closing laps. ”

“This JGL Racing team did an incredible job fixing the car after Daytona and that all showed in Talladega where we came home with a fourth-place finish.  We came out of there with the car in one piece and the guys have worked on making it better since then.  I am equally as excited as they are and look forward to running up front all night, staying out of trouble and having a shot a Victory Lane on Saturday night.”
