Coke Zero 400 | July 5, 2015
Back to Daytona…The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series goes home to Daytona International Speedway this weekend for the Coke Zero 400, the second and final event at The World Center of Racing in 2015. Michael Annett, driver of the No. 46 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet, looks to pick up where he left off in February, when he scored a career-best finish (13th) in the Daytona 500.
Fisher House Foundation Camouflage Scheme…Pilot Flying J is recognizing veterans throughout the month of July by donating 50 cents for every PhilMor coffee mug sold, up to $25,000, to Fisher House Foundation, a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving medical treatment. To commemorate the promotion, Annett’s No. 46 Chevrolet will carry the Fisher House logo and a special camouflage paint scheme for Sunday’s race.
A True Road Warrior…Kyle Cones, a U.S. Army veteran and professional driver, will be Annett’s guest this weekend as the winner of Pilot Flying J’s 2014 Road Warrior Program. The 2015 Road Warrior Program launches this weekend, honoring professional drivers who demonstrate hard work, generosity and bravery. Michael Annett on Daytona International Speedway:
“We started our season off really well in February at Daytona. Obviously, as past plate races have shown, anything can happen. If we execute as planned, we’ll be in position late in the race to capitalize on anything that breaks our way.”
