Stenhouse Jr. Looks to Cap Off Week with Victory in Daytona

CONCORD, N.C (July 1, 2015) – Ricky Stenhouse Jr. traveled to Orlando on Tuesday to support Fifth Third Bank as they became the official bank of Daytona International Speedway and will serve as an official partner of the Daytona 500 and the Coke Zero 400 powered by Coca-Cola.

“Fifth Third Bank has been a great partner of RFR for the past four years,” Stenhouse said. “Their new partnership with Daytona International Speedway demonstrates their commitment to the sport and the motorsports industry as a whole.”

Fifth Third Bank will serve as the primary sponsor on the No. 17 Ford Fusion this weekend for the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Stenhouse Jr. looks to join his Roush Fenway Racing teammates, Greg Biffle and Trevor Bayne, as drivers who won their first career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Daytona.

“I’m really looking forward to the Coke Zero 400,” said Stenhouse. “Superspeedway races have produced a lot of first time Sprint Cup winners like with Trevor and Greg. It would be an honor to get my first win at the historical Daytona International Speedway. Fifth Third Bank has had a big week with their announcement on Tuesday so hopefully we can get our first win in the Fifth Third Bank Ford.”

The two-time XFINITY champion has six career NSCS starts at the historical track, earning his best finish of seventh in the 2014 Daytona 500.
