CHASTAIN READY FOR INDY

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – In the middle of a fine rookie season in the Xfinity Series, Ross Chastain hits a highlight Saturday with his first opportunity to race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.Chastain will drive the Watermelon.org No. 4 Chevrolet for Johnny Davis Motorsports with Gary Keller in Saturday’s Lilly Diabetes 250.

“It’s a dream come true for any driver to get to race at Indy,” Chastain said. “The big task is to not be intimidated by the surroundings and learn the racetrack quickly. We’re looking for a good weekend.”

Chastain is 15th in Xfinity driver points entering the race. He has top runs of ninth and 10th this season.
Practice is scheduled at noon and 2:30 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying will begin at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 3:30 p.m.
