Buffalo Bills’ drumline to take part in Cheez-It 355 pre-race festivities

WATKINS GLEN, NY (August 4, 2015) – DownBeat percussion, the official drumline of the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills, is trading turf for asphalt this coming weekend.

The popular staple of Bills’ pre-game and halftime shows will perform during driver introductions ahead of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Cheez-It™ 355 on Sunday, August 9th at Watkins Glen International.

During home games, DownBeat’s “Stampede Drumline” plays in the parking lots for tailgaters and those entering Ralph Wilson Stadium. The group also puts on a 3-minute pre-game show on the field and select halftime performances during the season. Sunday’s visit to WGI will be the drumline’s first appearance at the facility.

In addition to pre-race, the group will perform for fans on the Midway, located in the Watkins Glen International infield, at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to Watkins Glen International August 6-9 for the Cheez-It™ 355 race weekend, which also features the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Bully Hill 125, and NASCAR XFINITY Series Zippo 200.
Located within five (5) hours (~300 miles) of 25% of the US population, Watkins Glen International is the premier road racing facility in North America, voted “Best NASCAR Track” by readers of USA Today.
