Wallace at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course marks Bubba Wallace’s first start at the 2.4-mile road course.

Wallace has two road course races under his belt in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series; both at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.  His best start was seventh (2014) and his best finish was fourth (2013).

Patient Champion

Dominic Clarke of Lancaster, Ohio will serve as the 2015 Patient Champion on the No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Mustang.  Dominic was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on July 30, 2013 at the age of five.  Now, seven years old, Dominic will remain in active treatment until at least 2016.  Dominic loves video games and Legos, and would like to be a Lego designer or a video game creator when he grows up.

On the Car

The No. 6 Mustang carries the Ford EcoBoost colors this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.  Ford EcoBoost technology combines smaller overall size with turbocharging, direct injection and variable valve timing to bring customers outstanding performance and fuel economy.

Recapping Watkins Glen International

In his first road course start in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Wallace started and finished 16th in the No. 6 Cheez-It Ford Mustang.  Wallace showed speed, but was slowed down by multiple pit road penalties throughout the course of the 82-Lap race at Watkins Glen International.

Bubba Wallace on racing at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

“Using what I learned at Watkins Glen, I’m looking forward to being right where we need to be when we unload.  I will have to practice patience and get a good rhythm down to maximize on forward drive.  I am ready to make my first laps at Mid-Ohio.”
