ADVANCE NOTES

Biffle at Chicago

Biffle has 12 Sprint Cup career starts at Chicago, earning one top-five and one top-10 finish.

Last Time at Chicago

Biffle started 20th after rain washed out qualifying and NASCAR set the field on practice times.  Throughout the race Biffle battled handling and long green flag runs cost him laps on the track, resulting in a 23rd-place finish.

Kansas Test

Biffle and the No. 16 team will be part of the Kansas test on Wednesday, September 16th.

Safety-Kleen

Safety-Kleen provides environmental services to most race tracks and race teams across North America.  They are an official sponsor of NASCAR and a founding partner of the NASCAR Green program.

EcoPower

Safety-Kleen’s EcoPower motor oil is the official oil of Roush Fenway Racing and is used in all race cars and transporters.

Biffle on Chicago:

“We tested at Chicago earlier this year, so I feel good about our chances this weekend.  Chicago is a pretty bumpy race track and it’s hard to get a handle on it to balance the effects of getting through the bumps, but I think we learned some things that will pay off this weekend.”

Puccia on Chicago:

“With some success at Darlington it looks like we have been making steps in the right direction on our intermediate program which makes me feel really good about Chicago.  We tested at Chicago a few months ago and learned some stuff that will help us this weekend.  We are going to Kansas Wednesday leading into Chicago and will get to work on some things that might apply to us this weekend.”
