Josh Wise Bank of America 500 Race Advance

56th Annual Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway

News and Notes:
Heading into Saturday night’s Bank Of American 500, Wise will be looking to make his 127th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start, and his seventh at the fast 1.50-mile speedway. This weekend’s event in “The Tar Heel State” will mark Wise’s sixth race in 2015 for Go Green Racing. The Riverside, CA native has a best Charlotte NSCS finish of 26th, which came in 2013. Wise has eight starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) at Charlotte Motor Speedway with a best finish of 14th, which came back in 2011 driving for JR Motorsports.

Josh Wise on Charlotte:
“Charlotte is always a fun racetrack. Night racing always takes me back to that feel of when I was young and racing on Saturday nights at the short tracks. We had a great run at Chicago in the last 1.5-mile track I drove for Go Green Racing, so I hope we can build on that and have an even better performance at Charlotte.”

Chassis Info:
Crew Chief Clinton Cram will be bringing chassis GGR-784 to serve as the primary car. This chassis was last raced at Richmond in September with Jeffrey Earnhardt. Chassis GGR-815 will serve as the backup car for Saturday night’s event.
