Justin Allgaier
No. 51 BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevrolet
Charlotte Motor Speedway
Bank of America 500 | October 10, 2015
See Justin… On Saturday, October 10, from 3:30 – 3:45 p.m. EDT, Allgaier will appear for a Q&A at the Team Chevy stage located in the CMS Fan Midway.
Dover II Race Recap…Dreary weather was the theme at Dover International Speedway. Heavy rain caused NASCAR to cancel all track activity last Friday and to set the field for the race based on the rulebook. Justin Allgaier started the AAA 400 in the 30th position. Both scheduled practice sessions last Saturday ended prematurely due to precipitation. Sunday’s misty weather moved away from the track in time for the start of the race, but overcast skies remained. After starting the 400-lap race with a mostly tight-handling No. 51 Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) Chevy, the car’s handling improved as the checkered flag neared. Allgaier completed the race with a 27th-place finish in the F.O.E. Chevy for HScott Motorsports.
Justin Allgaier on Charlotte Motor Speedway:
“I like racing at Charlotte [Motor Speedway] for many reasons. Selfishly, I’m glad that I get to sleep in my own bed at home. Everyone does for the most part. A lot of people will bring their family members that don’t usually get to come to the track. I like the racing at Charlotte, and I’ve always been a fan of night racing. You couldn’t have a better combination than this weekend. When we don’t have something go wrong at Charlotte, I’ve been good there. I’m hoping to shake the bad luck this weekend. The guys at HScott Motorsports have prepared a great car for me this weekend. Steve [Addington] certainly knows what it takes to win at Charlotte. I’m looking forward to being back in the BRANDT red car this weekend and finishing out these last few races of the season strong.”
Crew Chief Steve Addington on Charlotte Motor Speedway:
“Justin has been getting better and better at the mile-and-a-half tracks as the year has progressed. Fortunately, it looks like we will have great weather and get all of the track time we are supposed to this weekend. Every race is important, but there’s always something extra special about Charlotte because it’s a home race for so many teams. BRANDT is on the car this weekend, and they’re a great group of people and I want to get a good finish for them.”
