ADVANCE NOTES

Biffle at Atlanta

Biffle has 21 Sprint Cup Series starts at Atlanta, earning three top-five and 10 top-10 finishes.  He has an average starting position of 13.6 and finishing position of 16.1.

Last Time at Atlanta

Biffle started the chilly rain-delayed race from Atlanta Sunday afternoon from the 19th position and battled handling in his No. 16 Ford Fusion a majority of the race.  A late race accident caused damage to the No. 16, but the team pitted for repairs and Biffle was able to keep his Ford on the track for the remainder of the race to finish 25th.

Winning Duo

In 2003 Biffle won the XFINITY race at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Brian Pattie was the team manager.

Biffle on Atlanta:

“Last time I was there with Brian Pattie I won, I’m hoping that’s the case again this weekend.  I’m really anxious to get our intermediate cars on the track and see how fast we are.  Daytona was a huge boost for our team with how fast all our cars were.”

Pattie on Atlanta:

“We kicked off the season strong in Daytona, we had a fast car all of Speedweeks and we are looking to carry that momentum to Atlanta this weekend.  Atlanta is a tough place and can really wear out tires.”
