CHASTAIN SET FOR ATLANTA

HAMPTON, Ga. – After a busy opening week at Daytona Beach, Fla., the Xfinity Series moves on to Atlanta Motor Speedway and the Heads Up Georgia 250 Saturday.

Ross Chastain will drive the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 4 Chevrolet in the second race of the season.

“I always look forward to getting to Atlanta,” Chastain said. “It’s a very fast track but one where you also can make some moves. The tires wear out fast, and, if you’ve got the right setup, you can make some gains late in a run.”

Chastain has driven in Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series races at the 1.5-mile track.

He finished 22nd in last week’s season-opening race at Daytona.

Three rounds of practice are scheduled at AMS Friday – 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Qualifying is set for 8:35 a.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 1:30 p.m.
