ADVANCE NOTES

Biffle at Martinsville
Biffle has 26 Sprint Cup Series starts at Martinsville. In those starts he has earned five top-10 finishes, two of which came in 2013 with back-to-back top-10 finishes.

Last Time at Martinsville
Damage from an early caution plagued Biffle the entire race since his front end was damaged when the field bunched up on a restart. Despite multiple pit stops for repairs, some handling issues remained and as a result caused Biffle to spin out on the track multiple times, but he was still able to salvage a 26th-place finish in his No. 16 Ford Fusion.

Biffle on Martinsville:
“Martinsville hasn’t always been one of my strongest tracks, but we’ve definitely gotten much better there. I’ve had some solid runs there. Hopefully we can qualify well for track position and get a good finish at Martinsville this weekend.”

Pattie on Martinsville:
“Track position is really big at Martinsville. It’s a one lane, one groove race track so qualifying on Friday will be very important. We haven’t been where we want to be the last few weeks, but we have good tracks ahead of us and are looking to turn our luck around.”
