CONCORD, N.C. (April 12, 2016) – One of the fastest rising stars on the Billboard Top 100 charts had a lightning-fast Tuesday, as triple-platinum recording artist Andy Grammer made an action-packed trip to the iconic Charlotte Motor Speedway.

MORE INFO:

While the Los Angeles-born, New York-raised Grammer is no stranger to traffic, he needed time to get acquainted to his surroundings when he strapped into a Toyota pace car for some laps around Charlotte Motor Speedway. The scintillating feeling of zooming into sweeping 24-degree banked turns was the first of two unforgettable experiences awaiting the accomplished singer-songwriter, as the 70-minute Andy Grammer All-Star Race Concert Powered by Rayovac will kick off the pre-race festivities of the May 21 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race between Turns 1 and 2 of the Charlotte Motor Speedway infield.

“Me and the band are super pumped to come out here and be a part of such a big event,” Grammer said. “Any time you get to play a show around a sporting event like this, everybody’s already so amped up that the crowds are really, really good.”
