6th Annual GoBowling.Com 400 at Kansas Speedway

News and Notes:
Heading into this weekend’s event, the No.32 Sparks Energy Go Fas Racing(GFR) team will travel to the “The Sunflower State” with Cedar Rapids, IA native Joey Gase for the 6th annual GoBowling.Com 400 at the Kansas Speedway, in Kansas City, KS.

Saturday nights race will mark Gase’s 10th career start in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and his third start at the 1.5 mile Kansas Speedway. Gase made his two previous starts at Kansas driving for GFR, with a best finish of 37th after starting 42nd, which came back in the fall 2014 event.

Gase is no stranger to the Kansas Speedway, as he has four starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series where he has a best finish of 19th, coming back in the 2013 event after starting 32nd.

Joey Gase on Kansas:
“I am really excited to be racing under lights in the Midwest this Saturday night. I have a few cup starts with GFR at Kansas, and I’m confident we can have a strong run. We will have a lot of friends and family joining us this weekend since we aren’t too far from my hometown. I’m also looking forwarded to representing our sponsors who came onboard with us Sparks Energy, Heavy Quip Inc., and the Midwest Transplant Network.”

Chassis Info:
Crew Chief Wally Rogers will be bringing chassis GFR-890 to serve as the primary car. This chassis was last ran at Texas in April. Chassis GFR-802 will serve as the backup car.
