One Year Ago at Sonoma

A flat right-front tire foiled Biffle’s chances at a top-10 finish at Sonoma.  Biffle started 22nd and was looking at a solid finish as different pit strategies unfolded over the 110-lap race.  Just as Biffle’s fresh tires were gaining ground in the final laps, the right-front was cut down by three wide racing resulting in a 27th-place finish.

Biffle on Sonoma:

“I love racing out West.  Sonoma is a unique race track with the elevation changes, turns; all those things make it a fun place to race. The keys to Sonoma are staying on the race track, gas mileage, taking care of the brakes and transmission.  If you can do all those things then you can come out of there with a good run and possibly a win, I’m looking forward to it.”
