Bayne at Sonoma
Trevor Bayne will make his second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at Sonoma this weekend.
Bayne finished 23rd in his first start at Sonoma in this event in 2015.
Bayne has one top-10 in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West at Sonoma, a 10th-place finish in 2015.
In 12 career road course starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Bayne earned six top-10 finishes.
Matt Puccia at Sonoma
Puccia will be atop the box for his fifth NSCS event at Sonoma on Sunday. In four previous races, Puccia has recorded three top-10 finishes with a best finish of seventh coming in 2012 with Roush Fenway Racing teammate Greg Biffle.
Recapping Michigan
Bayne improved five positions on the final restart of the NSCS event at Michigan International Speedway to earn a 15th-place finish.
Chase Standings
Bayne trails the 16th and final position in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship standings by 19 points.
