Bobby Labonte No.32 OneOrlando Fund Ford Race Advance

58th Annual Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca Cola at Daytona International Raceway

News and Notes:

Heading into this weekend’s event at the Daytona International Speedway, the No.32 OneOrlando Fund team will head to “The Sunshine State” with 2000 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Champion Bobby Labonte for the 58th annual Coke Zero 400 in Daytona Beach, FL.

Saturday evening’s Coke Zero 400 will mark Labonte’s 48th career start at “The World Center of Racing” where he has earned 6 top-five finishes, 10 top-ten finishes and 70 laps led at the 2.5-mile superspeedway. In the season opening Daytona 500, Labonte finished 31st after starting 33rd.

For this weekend’s events in Daytona, Go Fas Racing alongside their sponsors and local organizations will help to garner support for the OneOrlando Fund. The No.32 Ford Fusion driven by Bobby Labonte will be displaying the website’s links and more information to urge all NASCAR fans and sponsors to donate directly to the cause in the name of our great sport. The OneOrlando fund was created by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to help aid the victims of the June 12th terrorist attack at the Pulse Nightclub.

For GFR owner Archie St.Hilaire who is a native of Maine understands firsthand the tragic impact of these types of events after witnessing the terrorist attack that took place during the Boston Marathon on April 15th, 2013. St. Hilaire is trusting that the efforts of his team will show that all NASCAR fans stand behind Orlando.

Bobby Labonte on Daytona:
“I’m excited and looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the No.32 Ford Fusion at Daytona this weekend. We will have a different car then we ran here with back in February, and we showed lots of speed in Talladega back in May which showed during Qualifying. Last year we didn’t quite have the results we were hoping for after getting caught up in a wreck on lap 2. We saw Daytona turn into a handling track back in February, and with being there in the summer, handling will be even more of an issue which will make things exciting.”

Chassis Info:
Crew Chief Wally Rogers will be bringing chassis GFR-689 to serve as the primary car. This chassis is brand new to GFR. Chassis GFR-830 will serve as the backup car.
