Medallion Bank to Adorn the Hood of No. 44 Ford Fusion
NASCAR makes its annual trip to ‘The Brickyard’ at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend, a track that Brian Scott has found success in the XFINITY Series. After a frustrating finish from bad luck at New Hampshire, Scott is ready for the season to turn around at one of motorsports most iconic tracks.
Scott only has five XFINITY starts at Indianapolis, but all five have earned him Top-15 positions. Scott finished second in 2013, when he was leading with six laps to go but was passed in the final laps. Scott also has a seventh, 11th and 14th place finish at Indianapolis. He will look to build on that success this weekend in the first start in the Sprint Cup Series at ‘The Brickyard’.
Medallion Bank is a Utah-based industrial bank specializing in non-prime recreation loans and prime-credit home improvement loans. Medallion Bank also originated taxi medallion and asset based loans on behalf of the parent company, Medallion Financial. Scott will wheel the No. 44 Medallion Bank Ford Fusion this weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in his debut Sprint Cup Series start at the 2.5-mile oval.
Fans will have two opportunities to meet Scott this weekend in Indy. Scott will be at Rick’s Café Boatyard on Saturday afternoon from 4:30 – 5:00 p.m. Kids will also be able to meet Scott at the NASCAR Youth Autograph Session on Saturday from 12:00 – 12:30 p.m.

“Indianapolis is just a special place. It’s one of the places where anytime you’re out on the racetrack, you feel the tradition and all the greats that have raced there; it’s palpable. You feel like you can feel it in you, and it’s a tremendous honor to make laps around that place. It’s fun and unique and different. I remember the first time getting through Turn 1, it’s almost like a tunnel with the grandstands on the inside, which is really rare for us. So when you’re getting into Turn 1, you’ve got grandstands on your left, grandstands on your right and a wall straight in front of you. And you’re thinking about the different ways you have to turn because it’s such a sharp left hand turn that it can be really challenging, but also a lot of fun. I’m really looking forward to my first Cup start there and bringing home a good finish for Richard Petty Motorsports in our No. 44 Medallion Bank Ford.”
