ADVANCE NOTES

In Memory
All the Roush Fenway Fords will carry a decal in memory of Greg Biffle’s Father, Jack Biffle, who passed away on Tuesday, July 19th.

Biffle at Indianapolis
Biffle has 13 Sprint Cup career starts at Indianapolis, earning three top-five and six top-10 finishes.  Biffle’s average finishing position at Indianapolis is 13.6.

One Year Ago at Indianapolis
Biffle got a little tight in qualifying and started 20th and searched for grip around the 2.5-mile track during the race.  Biffle was looking at a solid top-15 finish until losing ground in the two green-white-checkered restarts to finish the race, ultimately crossing the finish line 19th.

Last Week
Biffle finished fifth at Loudon, to record his third top-10 finish in the past three races.

Biffle on Indianapolis
“Track position is the key to Indy, the further you are to the front the better your car drives because you aren’t in the dirty air.  Qualify up front, stay up front, I’ve done it several times there and had opportunities to win.  I’m ready to get to Indy and see what we’ve got.”
