Roush Fenway Racing Returns to “THE” Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
Roush Fenway Racing heads back to the land of the Rock and Roll and Pro Football Hall of Fames this weekend as the NASCAR XFINITY Series prepares for the penultimate road course race of the 2016 season at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Roush Fenway has earned one previous victory at the 2.258-Mile track.

First Victory
Roush Fenway Racing driver Chris Buescher scored his first career NASCAR XFINITY Series victory in the 2014 event at Mid-Ohio. Buescher, who started from the fifth position, paced the field for the final 25 laps to earn the first victory for himself and Roush Fenway at the track.
Happy Birthday
Roush Fenway driver Ryan Reed will be celebrating his 23rd birthday on Friday at Mid-Ohio. Reed looks to earn three-consecutive top-10 finishes for the first time in his career this weekend.
Road Course Numbers
In 95 NASCAR XFINITY Series starts on road courses, Roush Fenway has earned four victories, 17 top-fives, 36 top-10s and two pole positions. Former driver Carl Edwards recorded three victories (Montreal – 2009, Road America – 2010, and Watkins Glen – 2012) while Buescher earned the fourth at Mid-Ohio in 2014.

Roush Fenway drivers Bubba Wallace and Reed currently rank ninth and 10th, respectively, in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase grid. With the top-12 advancing to the inaugural Chase, Wallace holds a 75-point advantage over 12th-place while Reed holds a 59-point advantage.
The Dynamic Duo
In seven career starts on road courses in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Reed has earned a best finish of ninth at Watkins Glen in 2016. Roush Fenway teammate Wallace has recorded one top-five and two top-10s in four previous starts on road courses with a best finish of fifth coming at Road America in 2015.
