Race No. 24: Darlington… The legendary Darlington Raceway in South Carolina is the site of the next NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stop, its 1.366-mile track — opened in 1950 — a once-a-year visit on the calendar of Michael Annett and his No 46 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet team. Annett’s best Darlington showing came in 2010 when he finished 11th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race.
A Throwback Paint Scheme… Participating in the #NASCARThrowback festivities, Annett’s No. 46 will celebrate the 1970’s-era Pilot Flying J logos and livery. The paint scheme was unveiled last Thursday on Annett’s official Twitter feed.
