Notes:

-Gallagher and the No. 23 team will utilize chassis no. 222. This chassis has been raced four times this season at Auto Club Speedway by Spencer Gallagher (start: 15th/finish: 11th), Dover International Speedway by Johnny Sauter (start: 11th, finish: 6th), Kentucky Speedway by Gallagher (start: 15th/ finish: 20th) and at Darlington Raceway by Chase Elliott (start: 38th/finish: 6th).

-Gallagher’s Allegiant scheme for the month of October will sport pink in honor of those who have fought and are still fighting breast cancer. Gallagher will carry pink ribbons on his No. 23, of the GMS Racing employees in the Xfinity department whose family members have battled and are still battling with breast cancer. The ribbons will include the following names, Amy Carter, Ruth Gallagher, Michelle Garcia, Mary Lee Barnwell, Barbara Dotson, Mary Bammarito and Carol Barraclough.

“Dover is a really fun and griped up racetrack. I really enjoy how turn two can get up to three lanes wide, it makes for some great racing. There is nothing like racing at Dover. It’s honestly a white-knuckle thrill ride. That place is a rollercoaster with a gas pedal attached. In every corner you are holding your breath. It’s really cool that we are carrying special ribbons on the No. 23 for some of the GMS Racing employees whose family members, as well as my cousin and grandmother, that have battled and continue to battle against breast cancer. We will also be running a special pink Allegiant paint scheme to help raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer.”
