AJ ALLMENDINGER, NO. 47 KROGER CLICKLIST CAMARO ZL1
RACING AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY: “Since the track was repaved last year, I think we’re all still trying to figure it out,” Allmendinger said. “Even though we raced there in the spring, the track can still undergo changes throughout the season as it wears in the new surface. The track is coming into its own and developing those bumps and characteristics, but we’re all still figuring it out and learning more changes every time we race there. More than anything, we definitely learned some things at the first race that we can still carry into this race. We had some speed in the spring race, and I think we can get a good finish for our Kroger ClickList team as we come to the final races in the season. My teammate and I both have some positive momentum to build off of after last weekend at Martinsville Speedway, and I think we can bring that into 500 miles at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.”

CHRIS BUESCHER, NO. 37 CLOROX CAMARO ZL1
RACING AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY: “I love coming home to Texas Motor Speedway,” Buescher said. “It’s always really great to see family and friends, and we’ll be able to see fans at Kroger in Fort Worth on Thursday for an autograph signing. Not only do I love coming home for that aspect, but the new repave at Texas Motor Speedway has been really good to me. For whatever reason, I’ve been better on the new surface than I was on the old racing surface. We’ve had really good speed and finishes the last few times we have raced there. Looking at the speed we had in the spring and last season, I feel really confident going back and seeing what we can do in our No. 37 Clorox Camaro ZL1. We learned a lot of good things about the new repave that we can bring with us back for this race. Not to mention, we have a whole season of intermediate track notes now that we acquired throughout the season that we can utilize.
