Ross Chastain on Racing at Texas: “I can’t wait to get this TrüNorth™/Paul Jr. Designs Chevrolet on the track,” said Chastain. “I’ve had this one circled on my calendar for a while. Everyone at Niece Motorsports has been working extra hard on this truck and I’m excited to get to be the one behind the wheel. We had a great race last week in Martinsville, and I feel strongly that we will run up front again this week in Al Niece’s back yard.”
Chastain at Texas: Chastain has five NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) starts at Texas Motor Speedway. In those five starts he has earned one top-15 finish and three top-20 finishes.
In addition, Chastain has made eight NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at the 1.5-mile track, with his best finish of 11th coming last fall.
Chastain also has two Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway.
On the Truck: The No. 45 Chevrolet will carry the TrüNorth™ colors at Texas Motor Speedway. TrüNorth™ is the leading provider of commercial asset related warranty programs and services for dealers, fleets, owner-operators, and commercial finance companies.
The paint scheme that Chastain will run at Texas was designed by Paul Teutul, Jr. of Paul Jr. Designs and star of “American Chopper”, in partnership with TrüNorth™.
TrüNorth™ partnered with Paul Jr. to build the first TrüNorth™ custom bike, which was unveiled in early November at the UTA Convention in Orlando.
