Daytona, FL (June 27, 2012) – From MMA fight cage to his #15 Tobacco Free Florida – Nuts Off Ford Mustang roll cage, Jeffrey Earnhardt is making his presence known throughout the world of sports. Jeffrey is preparing for this Fridays NNS Subway Jalapeno 250 powered by Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway and says he and the Rick Ware Racing team are ready for a top finish. “The MMA training has been great both physically and mentally and I’ve never been more ready to get behind the wheel than for this race. Rick and the guys are making sure we have a fast car and we expect to compete in the front”, said Earnhardt.
Jeffrey has been in Florida for the past two weeks delivering Tobacco Free Florida’s message at a number of venues and making appearances at several O’Reilly Auto Part Stores meeting fans and signing autographs. “I get a chance to meet a lot of young kids and the Tobacco Free message is something I really support. Hopefully the next generation of children will see that smoking is not cool and I’m excited to deliver that message.”
The 4th generation Earnhardt driver enjoyed a unanimous decision in his Mixed Martial Arts debut and now he’s switching fight gloves for race gloves as he competes on the high banks of Daytona. “I’m pretty comfortable on the super speedways and look forward to giving the fans something to cheer about.” Race starts at 7pm ET and will be televised on ESPN, July 6th 2012.
