Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Mustang, passed nine cars and survived a green-white-checkered restart in the closing laps to earn an 11th-place finish in the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
This marks the fourth consecutive year Mustang has won a NASCAR Nationwide Series championship, winning two driver’s and two owner’s titles in that span.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returned for its annual visit to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the season finale event. Both Red Horse Racing Trucks posted top-10 speeds during the first practice session at the 1.5-mile race track on Thursday afternoon, and returned to the southern Florida facility on Friday for knock-out qualifying.

“Yeah, we struggled getting the balance right. And I don’t think we’ve really hit it exactly where we need it to be yet. So, we’ll go back through the stuff that everybody did on our cars and definitely try to improve for tomorrow.”
