Logano Looks to Repeat Spring Texas Success

Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 AAA Ford Fusion for Team Penske, was the first driver to meet with media members Friday at Texas Motor Speedway ahead of the AAA Texas 500 race weekend. Logano, one of the eight drivers still alive for the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup championship, spoke about his win here in the spring and what the team looks for this weekend.

OneMain Financial to Sponsor Roush Fenway Racing No. 1 Ford Mustang and Elliott Sadler in 2015

OneMain Financial announced today that it will be the primary sponsor of the Roush Fenway Racing No. 1 OneMain Financial Ford Mustang driven by Elliott Sadler in the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). This sponsorship reunites the two organizations as OneMain Financial (previously known as CitiFinancial) sponsored Roush Fenway entries in the NASCAR Nationwide Series from 2008 to 2010.

Making his 19th NNS start at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend, Mike Bliss is ready to get back to the track after two weekends off. With an average starting position of 16.8 and an average finishing position of 21.0, Bliss has turned over 3,000 laps at the 1.5-mile speedway. After his 32nd place finish in the spring race at TMS, Bliss is ready to get back on track this weekend.

David Starr, No. 44 Whataburger Camry Pre-Race Report Texas Motor Speedway

Texas Motor Speedway is David Starr's home-track and a track where he has nine NASCAR Nationwide Series starts. With an average starting position of 26.1 and an average finishing position of 26.0, Starr is ready to take on the 1.5-mile tri-oval speedway. Earlier this season, Starr qualified 12th and finished the 200 lap race in the 15th position. Whataburger will be on board Starr's No. 44 Camry this weekend during the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge.

VICS: Honda Indy Toronto dates confirmed for 2015

Honda Indy Toronto is returning to the streets of downtown Toronto in 2015 and will take place June 12-14, instead of its traditional July dates. The announcement comes after an extended period of negotiations and coordination between all major supporters and partners of the annual event including Honda Canada, INDYCAR, the City of Toronto, Exhibition Place, Tourism Toronto and Green Savoree Toronto, promoters of the race.
