Georgia On My Mind...The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) will make its first and only trip of the 2013 season to Hampton, Ga. and Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) Saturday night for the Great Clips/Grit Chips 300. Nelson Piquet Jr. will make his first NNS start at AMS this weekend, but is no stranger to the 1.54-mile oval. Piquet Jr. has two starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at AMS with one top-10 finish.

No. 15 RK Motors Toyota Camry driver Clint Bowyer heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway for this weekend’s 500-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup race. Bowyer secured his second consecutive Chase berth with Michael Waltrip Racing at Bristol last weekend.
Marcos Ambrose and the No. 9 team have turned a corner in the past three races posting two top-10 finishes and winning a pole. The team has shown plenty of speed this year and now have the results to show for it. Ambrose and the DEWALT team will ride their momentum into the Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway and hope to celebrate Ambrose's 37th birthday in Victory Lane.
Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team head to the "Peach State" to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Sadler has seven Nationwide Series starts at the 1.45-mile track, with one top-five and four top-10 finishes, with a best finish of fourth in 2012. The driver also has 24 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with three top-10 finishes and 18 laps led.
Haiden Deegan came into St. Louis with a shot at securing a second straight Western Divisional 250SMX Class Championship and did so by dominating against a full field of the class’ top talent during the East/West Showdown.
