Roush Fenway Racing’s (RFR) Travis Pastrana, matched his career-best finish of 10th, Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS), overcoming a 31st starting position. The finish moved Pastrana up four spots to 11th in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) points standings.
Coming off his first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) victory of 2013, Kyle Busch continued a strong season start on Saturday by earning a second-place finish at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway, a track he calls “home.” The second-place result by Busch tied his best NNS performance at the 1.5-mile desert facility – equaling a runner-up result in 2007. He also has one NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) victory at Las Vegas in 2009.
